A14/A1 PROJECT

Surface water channel outlets gullies on the A14/A1 expansion project.

These include setting on V shaped gratings before shuttering. Concrete is then poured into the shutters and the V shape formed and finished by hand. Inside the V gratings the concrete is formed into a dish, allowing surface water to flow into the lid and be directed into the outlet pipe below.
