SLOT DRAIN INFILLS

Below shows slot drain in fills with an outfall gully box, pre fabricated from aluminium. This is fixed into position inside the gap of the slot drain, cut to suit and a box with an outlet connection is fitted to a pipe for drain off.

Form work is then stood ready for concrete to be placed. Concrete is poured in the shutter and compacted around the pipe and box and a lid set in place during the pouring process for access to the outlet as a rodding point.

The concrete is brushed finished, this forms a continuous run through the slot drain.
